White Pages® celebrates Australian women in the workplace

White Pages® is proud to be sponsoring the 2011 Telstra Business Women’s Awards for a third year.  These awards recognise the outstanding achievements of women in the workplace across a diverse range of industries.

White Pages are sponsors of the Government & Community category which showcases the talent and dedication of women working in government departments, statutory bodies and not-for-profit organisations.

For example, the 2009 winner of the National White Pages® Community and Government Award was Romilly Madew who was recognised for her leadership and contribution in the Australian building industry.”

Last year, the national winner of the White Pages® Community and Government Award was Professor Tanya Monro, one of Australia’s leading physicists. Professor Monro has also been recognised by the international scientific community for breakthroughs in optical fibre research.
