For all Android-powered smartphone holders, the wait is over. You can now join the thousands of iPhone users who are already using the White Pages® App on their phones by downloading the new Android application on your mobile.

Launched in April, this new application has been designed to give Android-based mobile phone users, the opportunity to access White Pages® anytime, anywhere, helping users to contact businesses quickly and more easily.

Purpose built to provide more convenience to smartphone users, the White Pages® Android application allows you to do a lot more with your people, business, government and community organisation searches. It can now help you locate them on a map and direct you to it.

So, if you are trying to find an Australia Post office near where you are; the GPS function in the application will recognise your current location, plot the nearest branch on a map and give you directions on how to get there. The search returns contact details and an in-built click to call feature.

The application will save you time, by helping you track your recent searches and save the listings either to your phone or conveniently in your White Pages® favourites.

More importantly, you can add notes to the listings you’ve stored in your favourites. So, you will always know which café near work serves the best coffee, which hotel near home makes the best parma and which nearby bookstore has the best range of classic children’s books.
