Did you know that hundreds of thousands of Australians have some form of vision impairment? When we spoke to the team at Vision Australia, they described vision impairment as an information disability, and that really hit home.
White Pages® would like to share with you some details on a guidebook that explains our accessibility services. These services are designed to assist people with a vision impairment to access White Pages® content in the best way.
The White Pages® Accessibility Guide
The White Pages® Accessibility Guide was produced in conjunction with the team at Vision Australia and explains how Australians with a vision impairment can access White Pages® content. The Guide is available in large font, Braille, as an audio CD or MP3 file and in electronic text.
The Accessibility Guide covers Access, Special Features, Cost and Accessibility Support for a number of directory services, including;
- White Pages® Books
- White Pages® Mobile
- White Pages® Online
- Phone services for people who are deaf or have a speech impairment
