For one of the most famous men in history, Santa Claus doesn’t give much away, such as his wife’s first name or exactly where in the North Pole he lives.

So if you are tracking Santa this year, or just trying to locate some Christmas spirit, start with the White Pages® – home to dozens of Clauses, Christmases and even the odd Rudolph.

With a few clicks on White Pages® Online or a flick through the White Pages® Residential Book, you can uncover Australia’s most Christmassy surnames. Did you know there are almost 80 homes with the surname ‘Santa’ listed in Australia?

If you are trying to get off the naughty list by tracking down Santa, why not search some of the fat man’s aliases, such as Father Christmas? There are almost 120 ‘Christmas’ surnames in the White Pages®, although to prevent Santa stalking we can’t reveal just how many are listed under ‘F’.

All the best sleuths know to look up their target’s accomplices, so think Santa’s elves and reindeers. With almost 170 ‘Rudolphs’ in White Pages® Residential, finding Santa’s red-nosed reindeer might take a while.

Of course you could also try Santa’s nemesis the Grinch – surely Mr Grinch would give up Santa’s locale? Unfortunately – and to the delight of Christmas lovers – there are no Grinches listed on White Pages® Online.

Thankfully, Australia’s Christmas spirit is much more common. ‘Love’, ‘Peace’ and ‘Joy’ – those most Christmassy of sentiments – appear 1580, 224 and 434 times respectively on White Pages® Online. ‘Noel’ appears 192 times and ‘Holly’ 123 times.

With that in mind, White Pages® wishes everyone a Merry Christmas – particularly the 199 people with the surname ‘Merry’ and 118 people with the surname ‘Christmas’.
