White Pages Covers Program
Calling all Aussies lending a helping hand
October 6, 2011
The search is on for amazing Aussies lending a helping hand in their communities, to star on the cover of next year’s White Pages® and Yellow Pages® books.
Sensis is calling for nominations of those inspirational people who go above and beyond to help others when times get tough.
They are the people who reunite and rebuild our communities after times of crisis or challenge. They bring the community together for the common good, smile in the face of adversity and work hard to strengthen our regions in many different ways.
Sensis wants to recognise these inspirational Aussies under the theme A Helping Hand, The Aussie Way by featuring them on the cover of White Pages® and Yellow Pages® books across Australia.
White Pages® Product Manager Sarah Simpson said, “Sensis is inspired by the way Australians band together at a time of need. This has been no more obvious than in recent years following devastating fires, floods and cyclones.
“We want to recognise those Aussies who extend a helping hand, whether it’s supporting an individual who has fallen on hard times, or leading an entire community struggling to overcome a challenge. These people will have acted in ‘the Aussie way’ to prevail in the face of tough times and strengthen their community.”
